At Suzy Vaughan Associates, we do a lot of research for our clients for script, clip, talent, music and other kinds of clearance. So for our own usage, as well as the use of visitors to our web site, we have listed the following useful resources.

If you click on the website listing, in most instances you will go directly to the Search Page on that website, thereby eliminating the need to hunt through four pages of explanation before you find the search page. In some instances, we have included websites which do not have a search page but which simply provide useful reference information.

  • THE TV GUIDE MOVIE DATABASE - TV Guide Magazine provides a 22-volume searchable feature film database

  • THE INTERNET MOVIE DATABASE - A searchable movie database which includes all info in TV Guide database as well as television shows.

  • ULTIMATE TV SHOW LIST- Links to TV show pages, with episode information, etc. An excellent source!!

  • BASELINE'S Entertainment Research Searchable Database-- You can search their vast databases for talent contact information, television and films in progress, etc. NOTE: This requires a subscription

  • MSNBC CLICK TV - Search MSNBC for actor info, TV shows, etc.! 

  • NICK AT NITE'S TV LAND -  This site has all sorts of information about old television shows, particularly those which ran on TV Land.  Episode titles, cast photos, etc.  

  • GLOBAL PHOTOGRAPHERS SEARCH-This site has a database for photographers, photo assistants, industry suppliers, models and stock photography.  

  • ALL-MOVIE GUIDE- A search engine for each film title, person and keyword.  The result is a comprehensive account for each film.

  • ULTIMATE BAND LIST- A music search engine that breaks down any keyword into lists of bands, record labels, clubs & concerts, radio stations, record stores, online events, magazines & ezines, and various musical resources 

  • TELEVISION EPISODE GUIDE - This lists many old and new series episodes.

  • THE TV LINK PAGE -This great web page allows you to search for all kinds of websites, including networks, TV show webpages, bbs resources, and chat

  • THE VANDERBILT NEWS ARCHIVES - Vanderbilt University has been recording NBC,CBS and ABC news since 1968. You can search this database by year. It also gives abstracts of the news for any date.

  • Thomas Register of American Manufacturers- free membership - great for commercial shows

  • AFMA Directory -  Directory of all production companies with American Film Market Association with addresses, phone numbers and personnel
